Op Centurion results

Good evening residents, 

We would like to give an update on what our poor Op Centurion officers have been up to today, whilst out on foot in the rain in Burnley Town Centre.

Despite the weather keeping most indoors, officers completed 2 stop searches, one resulting in the seizure of a quantity of cannabis, the other resulting in the arrest of a female for breach of CBO (criminal behaviour order). 

Another female was also arrested for being Drunk and Disorderly in a public place. She is currently experiencing beer fear in custody. 

Op Centurion is an operation dedicated to tackling anti-social behaviour. Op Centurion officers will continue to tackle this behaviour in Burnley town centre and take on board your feedback to ensure that Burnley town centre remains a place for all to enjoy.
